This monopod is the perfect accessory for a mobile/traveling photographer who's looking for a great value. It's well-made and very stable for lenses up to 300mm and, maybe, a little more. It's light, small and perfect for the hiker or backpacker.

Was just what I needed to take telephoto pics of birds & wildlife. It has a regular mount not fixed. Durable. Only thing I wished it had was a strap to put over my shoulder. It has a belt clip, but a little to heavy.

A little heavier than expected, but very sturdy for my DSLR. I would not want to carry/hold onto for a long hike.
