I purchased these energy bars because I wanted an organic plant based protein. The protein in these bars are derived from pea protein. They are mostly vegan (except for the honey) and taste great too!

For some reason my local grocery store carries these only sporadically - so glad I can get them from Walmart and cheaper, too. These are my favorite of many, many different brands, flavors of bars over the year. And they have a fair amount of protein so they're more than just a basic 'granola' ...
