I grew up on Chip Ahoy cookies and prefer the classic over these flavored versions. The dulce de leche gives it a nice twist, but it's too artifical and sweet tasting.

Who doesn't love dulce de leche?! We were so excited to share these as an after-dinner treat and all our friends agreed that there was a bit of a disappointingly artificial taste to them. Some loved the crunchiness while others wished they had been soft. Eh.

This is not the Chips Ahoy I grew up with, you know, the chocolate chip ones. But it is a nice change. This is the crunchy kind of cookies and not the chewy soft bake ones. So if you like your cookies on the crunchy side and you like the taste of Dulche de Leche, then you will enjoy these.

I liked the fact that it is crunchier than the other flavors , but when it comes to taste , it tasted more like caramel and was a little more sweeter than other flavors. I prefer chocolate chip cookies over this.
