Many of the air freshners for the automatic units have a very "sharp" scent when initially dispensed. The afterscent isn't particularly pleasing to me either. However, the Hawaiian scent is slightly fruity and extremely pleasing. There is no strong afterscent but remains noticeable for a few hours.

I originally bought the Glade brand. Could barely smell the scent when 3 feet away. I bought the GV version and can smell it all over my almost 2K sq. ft. house. Glade cost $6.00 each. GV version costs $7 for 2!!

Great they just need to add or bring more odors that match febrezze plug in, because is hard to match every odor and definitely you don't want a mix of odors around your house.
