While I currently don't have my switch just yet I can likely put it in my 3ds, phone, or other device that can use micro SD cards for the time being, I can only hope that my switch or other available devices have the extra pins necessary for the full throughput

Although it is marketed for the Nintendo Switch, it works for any device using microSDXC. It worked perfectly for me, giving me more space for games and media. Definitely a steal! Would recommend to anyone in need of more space, and doesn't want to spend way too much.
