Played tic tic toe and checkers with my 7 year old grandson. So much fun to have 3 games on one board. Glad I bought it and the price was reasonable.

The board is set up like regular. Your checker colors are either dark brown or tan. The only thing I didn't really like is the board is a little flimsy and that's because it folds to be able to go into the smaller box. I miss the large board with the black and red checkers

I got this for a toys for tots gift because many times batteries are expensive. A great way for young adults to use their minds. It is a nice enough set for those just learning how to play chess
