I had an older non-extendable model that broke from use/age. I like this model because it is extendable as well as come with a detachable saw blade for larger limbs.

This is one of my most useful and favorite tools. Its light weight and extension capability are so handy for trimming. Sharp cutter and sliding handle (no rope) are very well designed. By the way 8" -12" in the description is incorrect obviously. It should be 8' - 12' (feet not inches).

Great tree pruners. Excellent balance when extended. Most pruners are top heavy Being able to active prunerfrom slide handle is good feature.. only downside a wish it extended further.
