[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Axe is light enough to be able to easily swing, but still enough weight to easily split wood. Blade came fairly sharp and easily took sharpening. Really like the blade guard that comes with it. Overall a very nice axe.

All Fiskars axes arrive lethally sharp. And they STAY sharp through an entire day's work. The balance and weight are wonderful. I may be biased; because I own ten different ones!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this Fiskars Splitting Axe works amazing. It's perfect for splitting wood, or that stubborn stump. It is 28” long. It splits logs in one strike .It's a not a very heavy axe. I highly recommend this axe.
