I love this product and since I don't have a fence for my dog to run freely, this long cord has range so it gives my dog length to run around in a backyard as if I had a fence

As you would expect, it works. For my yard, I have used 2x20ft wires and they also worked well, I expect at least 12 months use from this in North Carolina where it gets a battering from very humid air and high dew points.

Lightweight plastic coated cable has held up to my 50-60lb crazy Husky chasing critters every day for almost 18 months. But is now very tired and kinked, and I need a replacement. Anything that has been out in the sun and snow would be in the same condition. It held up very well.
