I can not understand why don´t you have replacement parts for these canes, only the tip, if you need to change the grip or even the upper section the anser is "get a new one"

the grip handle on this cane disintegrated, it just rubbed off exposing black plastic underneath.

The instructions are not clear. There is a black plastic band that needs to come off, but how? Another plastic peice around cane handle, what is it for? Interfers with grip. Borrowed this from my wife when sprained knee. Much easier on hand than u shaped handle of standard wood cane. Adjusted height easily. My wife packs it in her backpack. Says its hard to keep the 4 pieces together without a velcro band. So she has one attached to the wrist strap. Lighter than wood...
