I was a little concerned at first because it didn't seem to blend the spinach leaves as well but when I added more water it worked fine. It also does a good job blending frozen fruit for smoothies - again you need to have enough liquid to blend well.

I use this several times a week to make frozen drinks-- either fruit smoothies or milk shakes or frozen adult beverages. This thing crushes ice like mad. The lid really hugs the glass jar and the pour spout does not leak. A cinch to clean. Love this blender!
