Perfect cold weather pants-no need for long johns unless it's bellow the 30's. Very comfortable but would go up one size in the waist that you normally wear. I've worn these pants for two winters on the east slope of the Cascades in Washington and have nothing but good things to say about them.

Have used these for snowboarding and hiking. Very warm and works well under ski/rain pants. Friends noted instantly I had a new pair of pants on...several good comments. I usually wear 30.30 but went up a waist size given I'm usually layering. I'd say true to size and do recommend.

Just wish it had more ice pack with it cause the bars melt had to put in freezer but are still.real good
