I bought several of these for use with a USB keyboard, to connect it to a computer with PS/2 ports. I tried this on 3 different computers, none of the computers recognized the keyboard. I know the keyboard works because I use it on a computer with a USB port

If it would have worked on my keyboard it would have been a great value! I suppose the USB Keyboard I had was a powered keyboard and the USB female to PS/2 Male adapter could not provide the required power to the keyboard and never was able to use it to input data.

A simple gadget that did not work. I bought 2 and will be taking them back to the store. Previous reviewers had similar results. I should have listened. I will now try the more expensive gadget.
