it brings the temp up a few degrees. it doesnt moderate and keep it at a specific temperature but it takes up a lot less room then the ones that do and is much cheaper.

Works great for my ten gallon bettas tank. He has been swimming around doing lots of tricks now that the tank is to his liking.
