My old Uniden VHF gave a long service life so when it died I decided to go back with them. It's a great radio for a real decent price. It has all the latest technology (DSC, triple/dual watch, auto distress call, etc) You can't go wrong with this radio.

For the price this radio cannot be beat. As a Ham Radio operator I know radios. The UM415 has all you need. Higher priced radio with more features are just higher priced radios. This unit will do everything a boater needs in a quality and most important on my 20 foot coastal boat, a compact size.
