I've only had it down for a week, but so far it's great. It keeps our area rug, which is over thick carpeting, in place with no sliding like our other one did. I can see when placed over a hard floor surface that it would give additional comfort as it's cushioned.

We shopped around for this particular item. Walmart priced it for much less and offered free shipping to the house. Mohawk made it to be trimmed because of size variations in area rugs. While it is not difficult to trim with scissors, I found it even easier with a straight edge and utility knife....
