      The 2180 seems to be the reduce-cost-to-produce version of the 2170. Second tractor not included except at extra cost, Smaller capacity ink ribbon. No out feed paper guide. Manual on disk that computer can't read. Driver wont load in Windows 98. AND 14 inch paper constantly jams at the right side...

      This 2190 replaced a DFX 5000+. The 2190 started out fine but after two weeks it started printing slower and slower. Now I can send a batch of 20 print job through and it will take about 30 seconds per page. This printer isn't even a month old.

      This printer would be great if it worked the way it was supposed to. Currently, the printer will not do continuous feed when the operating system is updated.       Printer seems to be good. Only thing is that I should have checked that it only had one tractor. My 2180 had 2 and that was great, didn't have to switch the tractor or paper.

      There is a white paper saying Win7 drivers are not included in cddrivers (only comes Win95-Vista) The generic Windows 7 drivers dont have all fonts.
