I have a HUGE living room, and this is PERFECT for it... So the sound out of the TV ain't great...that is why you have HOME THEATRE STEREO SYSTEMS! I plugged the audio out to my Sony Surround system, and it is near the SAME as sitting in a movie theater... You don't need to one with smart apps....

This is a really good TV. Great picture with good color. Also very good for video games. The only weakness is the sound, but since we use an external sound system it's never been a problem.
