The product is mediocre at best at sync'ing to analog video output from (a pretty good) VHS unit. If your tape is really good, it may do better. But really, at this point in time, whose tapes are new and unused? I also have an older ADS (2001?) which isn't great, but is better than this unit.

I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO USING THIS PROGRAM TO PUT MY VHS TAPES ON DISC. FORM THE BEGINNIING I COULD NOT GET THE PROGRAM TO DOWNLOAD. I'M USING WINDOWS 7. THOUGH IT INDICATES 3 SEPARATE AUTO RUNS. NONE OF THEM WOULD WORK. I SPENT HOURS WITH THIS TDO NO USE. SORRY I CAN'T BE MORE POSITIVE.
