I had to have this chair...it does have the attachments (holes for the arms) but I ordered the chair minus the arms/arm rests...and it's still great very comfortable I have fallen asleep in it several times and I am an above average sized guy and so far no squeaks or squeaks coming from the chair...

I LOVE this chair. So sturdy and I can lean all the way back without fear of tipping. I can flop on it at any angle and it is amazing. Highly recommend.
