My sister had been asking for one of these lava lamps for the longest so I decided to order it for her as a gift, and she absolutely loves it. Our uncle loved it too and now wants one for himself...Nice height and ambiance :)

my kids went crazy with the lava lamp; they really love it. My only concern was that my kids were already thinking of what would happen if they could put a real fish inside the lamp. lol

Works very well. Put it on for about 8 hours the 1st day without moving it and the stuff inside made nice large globes. It starts working much faster each time we use it and is a great pink color. It dowager very warm, so for a kids room, would want to make sure they know to use caution.
