I bought this to try for a cool bed for my double-hair-coat big dog. When it's very hot, he does lie on it (it's outside in the yard under a shade tree). However, it's not his preferred resting spot. This may just be my dog's preference. I'm glad I bought it, if only for those times when he needs...

Purchased this bed to give my golden retriever a place to lie down on our front & back porch. He seems to avoid using it unless I put some kind of fabric pallet on top.

Pros: I like the size of the bed for my 65 pound, long haired dog, and the airflow through the filler does keep the bed cool. It is well cushioned, too, unlike many dog beds which compress to the point where ultimately the dog is in contact with the floor. Cons: dog hair stick...
