My 2017 expiration 9 volt battery wasn't strong enough to program it. I called the GunVault people and they said need a 2019 battery. I found a 2018 battery and that worked but it was frustrating.

Easy to install( I wish they would have included Phillips Head screws instead of the thumb screws to install the safe to the mount because of my big hands). Setup was pretty easy, and it opens almost every time. I would recommend it.
