This is a very nice, sturdy 3 wheel scooter. My 4 year old grandson could operate it alone immediately, and loved riding it without using his foot to push it along. It doesn't go fast enough that he could fall off, but he really liked it. I think this is a great scooter for a 3 or 4 year old.
