Car charger didn't work, no LED to let you know it's on, and the bagful of pieces is worth avoiding. Just buy separate AC and DC adapters -- it's cheaper and simpler.

We were using this in our car when we smelled something burning. It was the 12 volt adapter for the power plug. Blew the fuse for the power plug. Left us without the use of the laptop in the car, which is what we wanted the thing for.

The multi-adapter splitter started falling to pieces within 6 months. After 2.5 years, it has bare copper showing. I am not in the field; this is from twice per month travel. Now the power cord has an internal break, and I need to replace. Can't replace only what is broken. Have to replace whole...
