I LOVE red velvet cake and these cookies are a miss. They have a white-ish coating that does NOT taste anything like the frosting on a red velvet cake, nor does it look like frosting. They also have a thick cloying after taste that is not exactly sweet and drastically departs from the red velvet ...

The picture shows a red velvet cupcake, also icing on the cookie. The cookie definitely doesn't taste like cake. It tastes like they use too much food coloring. Left an aftertaste. There is no icing on it at all. There's a slight dusting of some white powder. It doesn't taste like powdered sugar.
