We used get em gone for lice removal when the OTC shampoo did not work. This did the trick and left our hair soft and silky. We've also mixed a few drops into daily shampoo routine for prevention. The smell is outdoorsy and my daughter doesn't prefer the smell, however, I think it'll grow on her.

I dilute this blend in a spray bottle and use it on my 7-year-old and 4-year-old and it seems to work well at protecting them from the cootie outbreaks. :) My boys and I like the smell. It is strong but I find it to be a pleasant reassuring fragrance.

I had put Get 'Em Gone in my niece's shampoo prior to the start of school this year and by the end of September the class had head lice going around. My niece was the only one not to get it.
