This lamp is more attractive than you would be led to believe by looking at the pictures. Fluid and wax colors are attractive and the lamp heats up quickly (shapes start rising quickly). Beautiful décor. Purchased for a female in the family but must admit I like this lamp myself.

I ordered this for my 10-year-old son after seeing it. I loved the two parts and felt that he would love it, too and sure enough, he does. Like all the other lava lamps I've had, the wax just needs to heat up for a little bit and when it does, the fun begins!

I bought two of these motion lamps for my grandson's for Christmas. Haven't tried them yet, hoping they love them. I will have to re-rate once we get these hooked up and see how they work.
