This protector has the switch on the end which I prefer because of cats stepping on switches on top. And, the cord comes out the end which keeps the protector flat on the floor and less obtrusive. It works fine for what I needed.

The mounting hole/slot on the rear of the unit is poorly located. Both of the mounting points are on the left side. When removing a plug that is tight, the base tries to twist on the screw mounts. Engineering should know that "both" sides should have mounting holes/slots. I had to add an adhe...
