the chaulk doesnt come out as dark as I would like but my 7 year likes it. moms beware though It leaves the hair a bit nasty feeling , but somewhat expected. There should be some kind of warning on the package also to be sure not to sleep with it in hair or else your child's pillow will be a mess...
