This gps has lots of new features our older one did not. We especially appreciate the one that turns the gps off if it is in the hot sun for a long period of time to protect the system.

Previous Garmin GPS devices that I have used didn't have lifetime updates for maps and traffic. This one does and the screen is a bit larger than previous models that I have had experience with. Highly recommend.

Works well. Live traffic a huge bonus near big cities. Lifetime maps included keep it from being obsolete in a year or 2.

Easy to use once you figure it out. Does not come with any directions. Great for a person who doesn't like to drive highways since you can choose to avoid them. Really helped my daughter since she is a new driver and still learning her way around.

It's a Garmin so it calculates directions wonderfully. My eyes are getting a little bit old so I would have preferred one with a bigger screen like I got for my son :)
