Smells like black licorice! Warm and happy—light and not cloying. I’m always worried delicious food smells like vanilla, orange, and even oregano or ginger will make me hungry, but I actually find the opposite. Recommend for tension, moods, and the munchies.

I originally purchased this because of its attributes of what it can do. But I have found I love the smell the most I have a small pad diffuser in my car that I clipped to my vent. I put a few drops on this every week or so and the smell in the car is so wonderful

I found out that star anise is actually a component in fragrances and food much more often than I realized. Even if you don't like licorice smell, don't count it out. It can give some blends a very unique scent that when blended creates a whole different scent. Versatile yet mysterious
