I usually don't care for pop tarts but my daughter eats them for breakfast. We tried these and were surprised how much they tasted like a choc chip cookie dough treat. These are probably the only pop tarts that we both liked the outside edges of. They have a good cookie taste.

I buy these for my kids because they like having them for desert and breakfast. The chocolate chip cookie dough is a real treat. Warm or room temp they are delicious!

As soon as I saw the new Pop-Tarts chocolate chip cookie dough box at the grocery store, I had to buy it! That night I popped one in the microwave for 30 seconds. It was awesome!! Just enough frosting on the outside to match with the filling on the inside to create the taste of cookie dough.

I should feel guilty for eating cookie dough for breakfast but I do not. It's my inexpensive snack and breakfast rolled into one
