You get what you pay for. It would not work properly, regardless of how I tried to set it up. The software would not work properly when connected for manual setup. I Wasted several hours. I am tech-savvy, so no, it wasn't my incompetence, it's just a poor product.

I installed the TP Link Range Extender to boost wifi signal between my home and guest house. It picked up the router signal and my computer connected to it on the first try. I would recommend.
