This is a good and inexpensive timer you can use indoors or out. Easy to program. I have 2 of them outdoors controlling things I want to operate in the daytime and the other operate in the night.

I am using one of these on a 5000 BTU window air conditioner and one on a 1/2 hp. lake aeration pump and they work great. Fantastic control with ability to set on or off points every 1/2 hour for every 24 hours. I would highly recommend it.
