I bought this freezer in 2014 to use on board a commercial fishing vessel operating out of Nome, AK. The until was on the upper deck, under a cover but outside, year around for 4 years. I know these are not the recommended working conditions, but the freezer worked great! It never let us down....

Bought 3.5 years ago and use in very challenging salt water sailing. I have had this unit all over the North Atlantic and still running strong. only problem has been the front cooling fan which was a std 5 volt magnetic fan. works great on 120 volts ac and 12 volts dc.
