I purchased this oar to use decoratively on my wall. It was exactly what I was looking for at a very reasonable price. The color worked perfectly with my nautical themed decor. The quality is there also for those wishing to really use it in the water.

I say "muscle power" as opposed to electric or gas motors.. I have used oars in the past and so they are not new to me. These Caviness oars are quality made and the paint is great. David

It's not like you need to use them all the time when out fishing, but its nice to know you have them handy if you need to use them. These oars are low-priced and good looking because their protected by paint and should serve you for years. Great buy and expect to get even amount of use out of them.
