I have 4c hair and when I use spoolies my hair stays in ringlets until I wash them out. I use shay moisture coconut mousse and my hair doesn't frizz.

These 1 5/8 spoolies work AMAZING. I have longboard straight hair and I was able to hold a curl for two days!! They are also comfy to sleep in. You have to figure out where to ‘put them' when you lay down but I had no issue sleeping!

It works better on semi wet hair. Be careful if you try on dry hair as it might get a little tangled when you remove them. They do create beautiful curls!
