Just like the drippings from a freshly baked chicken, it has that nice chicken flavor without all the excessive sodium flavor or dietary overload. You can add a little salt to your own preference, from there.

I add a little of this to my dogs' food throughout the week. They play with their food rather than actually eat it, but when it's soaked in chicken broth, they gobble it down.
