One long tab per side is less back pain and less stretching trying to get the 4 tabs to stick. The one long tab sticks wherever you place it with no problem and you're done whether patient is standing or lying down.

I use them to bandage my wife's foot/leg. she has drainage and they soak it up better than bandages. I use an ace wrap to hold it in place
