I wasn't aware of the fact that you have to attach brackets to the wall, but it does make the gate more stable. Easy set up. Very well made and sturdy.

This gate is just the right height to block the dog from access the other areas of the home while allowing the family to easily step over it. This is a lifesaver! When the dog leans on the gate it stays in place. This is made of strong durable plastic.

Easiest gate I have ever used!! Going to buy another one. You simply extend it to opening, click the peg in place and then the twist the knob to tighten in place. We are using as a baby gate.

I had purchased 2 of these gates previously to replace older wooden ones, ended up purchasing 3 more! Absolutely perfect! They fit much better in doorframes as well as across the porch steps, which the wooden gate didn't quite fit and I had to just lean it in place!
