This is the only sunscreen my daughter doesn't fight me spraying her with. She loves the smell. I think the protection lasts for a decent amount of time. So far no burns while using it properly. She can even spray it on herself easily.

The neutrogena sunscreen for kids works very well. It is a spray on . I sprayed it on my kids 1/2 hour before going outside in the sun and swimming pool.
