They don't attract as many varieties of birds as the black oil, but still a large variety. We use these on a platform feeder and the mess is unreal, but it's so fun to watch...

Birds love it!!!! A cardinal family is my biggest taker!!! I use black sunflower seeds and suet squares. And YES I have squirrels who get way more than their fair share!!! :)
