I had a rain digital rain gage from another company but it was not accurate. It would give readings of 100 inches during a storm. This gage reading is right and easy to read. It was also easy to set up. I would love to put it on the wall above my desk. But it looks good on the desk too.

The outdoor unit did not work at all. Returned it very next day. Will try another one.
