I just used my brand new thermometer to make toffee, and the candy turned out even better than I expected. This model is particularly big and a little awkward to use.....But it did the job so no complaints.

I'm not happy about paying $10 or so when it is now $7.64. Maybe someone at Walmart will see this and refund me or give me a gift certificate. The Thermometer came from China and it looks to be of high quality although I have not used it yet. I would think it would do the job as it's heavy/stur...
