I love to use Bumble Bee clams when I make home made clam chowder. Very handy and stores well. I was having some trouble finding the minced clams in stores lately and was very happy when I was able to order all I need at walmart.com.

I keep several cans of these clams on hand...add them to Great Value canned clam chowder...heat up some cibatta bread and have a hearty meal ready in less than 10 minutes. Always a hit with my husband.

We have been using these minced clams for years to make the Julia Child recipe for New England Clam Chowder. We prefer the minced to the chopped which have a tougher texture and end up being a bit too chewy in the chowder. Be sure to add at least one bottle of Snow's Clam Juice to your three cans...

Snow's are the only canned glam brand I will buy. The clams are very well cleaned - no sand bits, no tiny shell pieces and most importantly, no dark entrails or black guts. The flesh is sweet. These clams are great in dips and form the basis of my clam chowders.
