I'm not sure why some of the reviews on this product are not good. The price was great, the product was dated and had a very good date on it and it also looked nice and green and fresh. It looked even better than the picture.

I really enjoy split pea soul with carrots, spices, and a small amount of ham for flavoring. Farralon uses better plastic for their bags than many competitors.

Amazing heath benefits especially with the green peas over the yellow split peas. Makes a soothing dinner and for those who stock up for electrical shortages and storms-these cook very quickly and you can add some type of canned ham or dried bacon to make a delicious hearty meal.
