This book had me hooked form the first paragraph. The story of loss, redemption and love set around 9/11. At times it was heart renching but so well crafted. The characters and situations were believable that I felt I knew them. Must be read with a box of tissues!!

What a powerful book! I truly enjoyed this version of what might have happened to a firefighter doing his job in the world's most horrendous disaster!

I really can't put this story into words, it is that good. I have always been interested in stories about 9/11. But when I read this one, I cried for hours! I loved this book with all my heart, it really shows how sad that day was. One of the best stories ever written.

The book captured my attention in the beginning, but the middle slowed down. Had to finally push myself to finish it.....and oh my!! I have never read a book that had me crying for the final 30 pages! Extremely emotional! Heavy on the religion.....but what a story!
