Product works well but you will need to have a longer screw to replace the one used to secure the support braces to the shaft as it should be a little longer so the lock nut can get a little bite. Mine got lost before I finished the roof. That is the only complaint I have.

I have a lot of oak tree branches on my roof of my ranch style house. I was able to pull these down while standing on the ground. No climbing ladders. I don't think I'll ever need this for snow in the St Louis area.
