We gave this to our 13 year old daughter and she loves it! I suggest putting the settings on VGA quality pics to allow her to take even more selfies than she already has loaded up on her iPhone. 16mp pics aren't really her interest at this point. Great camera and works beautifully on a tripod!

Takes very good, not great photos. Better zoom than x550 but overall pictures about the same. Very easy to use.
